Investing in massage is an investment in your health
CHAIR MASSAGE
Known as seated massage, chair massage, or on-site massage, this technique involves the use of a specially designed massage chair in which the client sits comfortably. Seated massage includes bodywork and Swedish massage techniques, provided to the fully clothed client in a variety of settings, including businesses, airports, and street fairs.
HOT STONE THERAPY
Basalt stones, black volcanic rocks, of various sizes which are smooth and absorb and retain heat well, are used to promote warming, relaxation, and release of muscle tissue.
RELAXATION MASSAGE
Very similar to a Swedish massage, using gentle, smooth, gliding stokes at a slower pace and with lighter pressure. The purpose is to relax rather than work serious knots, or adhesions out of the muscles, and won't be pushing the client's pain threshold. This massage is very calming to the nervous system, and promotes a sense of well-being. Sometimes clients even fall asleep during a relaxation massage. It also improves circulation and stimulates the lymphatic system which carries away waste products.
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
A Therapeutic massage ia a little more intense than those listed above. This one addresses those knots and and restrictions in order to get restored range of motion where there may be limitations. The work is concentrated on an area or two (neck/shoulder, back/hip etc.) The client participates more with the therapist instead of going to sleep.
